This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. It is in a very dangerous area. The taxi driver was nervous driving there. As soon as we stepped out of the car we were surrounded by guards in bullet-proof vests who shuffled us inside. The room was filthy and the linen didn't seem to have been washed in a long while. There was a karaoke bar on the floor above us, so there was no way we could sleep at all. The whole experience was very dodgey! We chose it due to its close proximity to La Paz airport. Definitely not worth it... just stay in La Paz...give El Alto a miss!
